Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup butter

1cupsugar

1cupbrownsugar

2eggs beaten

1tspvanilla

1 1/2cup flour

1/2tsp salt

1tsp baking powder

1tspsoda

3 cups oats

Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and Vanilla. Beat well stir in flour salt baking powder soda and oats. Chill at  least one hour while covered with saran wrap. Roll into balls and cover with powdered sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Baked at 375 for 8 to 10 min.

Sea Food Dip

2 pkgs(8oz each) reduced-fat cream cheese

1pkg(8oz) crab flakes

2TBS finley chopped onion

1TBSprepared horseradish

1tsp woreshestire sauce

4 to 5 drops hot pepper sauce

1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts

paprika

Stir the cream cheese until slightly softened. blend in remaining ing. except walnuts and paprika. spread mixture in a 9inch pie pan. top with walnuts and sprinkle with paprika. Bake uncovered at 375 for 25 min until lightly browned

Banana Bread

1 cup butter

1 1/2 white sugar

2 eggs beaten

4 ripe bananas

1 tsp vanilla

4TBSbutter milk

2cupflour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1tsp salt

heat oven 325  for glass and350 tin

cream butter and sugar add eggs and bananas then butter milk and van.(if using dry butter milk add water now keep powder for dry ing.)

Add all dry ing. into wet mix well pour into 2 greased pans bake 45 to 50 min.

Broccoli Cheese Rice

Ingredients

1 can mushroom soup

1 jar cheez Whiz

1/2cup chopped celery

1/2chopped onions

3/4cup melted butter

1 1/2instant rice uncooked

1 pkg frozen broccoli thawed

Mix soup and cheez  whiz over heat till melted

Add celery onions butter rice and broccoli

Place in 2 qrt casserole dish.

Cover with lid bake at 350 deg. for 40 min.

Taco Soup

ingredients

3 small tins tomatoes

1 small tin chilies’

2 cans chicken broth

1 can each: kidney, pinto ,black, beans  and hominy rinsed and drained

1 pkg   dry ranch dressing mix

1 pkg taco seasoning

4 chicken breasts cooked and diced

mix together, simmer and serve

Glaze for Minnie Weiners

1/2 cup water

1/4cup catsup

2Tbs.brown sugar

1Tbs.vinegar

1Tbs.soy sauce

combine then pour over weiners

Curry Sauce

2Tbs. oil

3tsp.curry

2Tbs. flour

2cups chicken broth

brown curry in oil cool 5 min

add flour then slowly add chicken broth

Bring to a boil until thickened

Hot Dog Relish

8cups cucumbers-seeded

4cups onions chopped

2 red peppers

2 green peppers

6cups white sugar

4tps salt

Mix all ingredients and boil for 10 min.

1qt. viegar

1small cup flour

1Tbs tumeric

3Tbs. dry mustard

mix dry ingredients and add to vinegar slowly add to hot mixture

cook till clear (1hr)

(NB add some of hot mixture to vinegar mixture to prevent lumps.)

pour into jars while hot then let it cool before putting the lids on them

Note: 8 cups of cucumbers are 6 medium cucumbers

1 bag of onions is about 4 cups

Apple Crisp

4 cups apples

1 tsp lemon juice

1/4cup water

2/3cup flour

1tsp cinnimon

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1/3 butter

peel and cut apples filling a 9×13pan(heaping)

pour water and lemon juice over apples

mix cinnamon and white sugar over apples and stir in

mix brown sugar and butter cut in flour and salt to make crumbs

sprinkle over the top

bake at 350 till apples are soft when tested with fork

Broccoli Salad

1 Head broccoli

1/2 red onion

1/2 lb bacon

1 cup sunflower seeds

1/2 cup rasians

1/2 cup mushrooms

1 cup mayo

1/2 cup sugar

2Tbs cider vinegar

mix mayo, sugar and vinegar and set aside.

cut up the broccoli, red onion and bacon  into bit size pieces

combined all the ingredients toss add the sauce and toss
