Base — ⅓ cup sugar · ⅓ cup margarine or butter · 1 Tbsp shortening · ¼ tsp vanilla · 1 cup all-purpose flour · ⅛ tsp salt. Apples — 4 cups peeled, cored, sliced cooking apples (Golden Delicious or Granny Smith), baked covered at 400° for 15 minutes. Filling — two 8 oz packages cream cheese · ½ cup sugar · ½ tsp vanilla · 2 eggs. Topping — ⅓ cup sugar · 1 tsp ground cinnamon · ¼ cup sliced almonds.
Bake 400° for 40 minutes or till golden. Cool, remove the springform sides, chill 4 to 24 hours before serving. Makes 12 servings.

The nutrition panel is the dating clue. Per-serving nutrition analysis printed alongside a recipe became standard in American food magazines and cookbooks from the late 1980s onward, so this clipping is from that era or later — later than most of the handwritten cards around it in the box.
The unusual step, and the reason the recipe works, is that the apples are pre-baked separately and gone on warm rather than raw — which is why they finish golden instead of weeping into the filling.
