A whipped peanut butter frosting for topping a cake, worth reaching for whenever plain buttercream feels too thin.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 Tbsp milk or heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups confectioners' (powdered) sugar
Method
Place butter and peanut butter into a medium bowl and beat with an electric mixer. Gradually mix in the sugar, and when it starts to get thick, incorporate the milk one tablespoon at a time until all the sugar is mixed in. Beat at least 3 minutes so it gets good and fluffy.
