Three no-bake holiday treats on one page — chocolate-topped pretzel rounds, a pretzel "reindeer head," and a mint sandwich candy — the companion sheet to another candy page in the same batch.
Companion page: this sheet is one of two companion pages in the same hand, on the same paper, from the same holiday candy-making note set. The other is holiday-candy-cherry-cordials-fudge-popcorn.md (Cherry Cordials, Fudge, Popcorn), which carries the initials "RK" — this page does not.
Ingredients
Pretzel Rounds: - round pretzels - Hugs (chocolate candy) - M&Ms
Reindeer Heads: - pretzel - M&Ms (small sketch on the page shows a pretzel with two M&M "eyes"/antler shape)
Mint Sandwich (cookies): - cocoa/dark chocolate, divided in half - 1 Tbsp Crisco in each half - 2 cups green wafers - peppermint mint oil, 3 drops
Method
Pretzel Rounds: Bake at 250°F for 2 minutes. Stick M&Ms in the center of the melted chocolate, let set.
Reindeer Heads: ⚠ not stated on the card — the card gives only the ingredient list and a sketch, no written method.
Mint Sandwich: Method note on the card: "make like Andes mints" (a thin mint-sandwich style candy).
Notes on the artifact
Handwritten notebook-paper page, same handwriting and paper style as the companion Cherry Cordials/Fudge/Popcorn page — very likely part of the same holiday note set, though nothing on either page names an author.
